The music biopic Bohemian Rhapsody scored over $903.6 million at the global box office proving there are still a great many fans of Freddie Mercury and Queen around the world. Rami Malek also took home the Academy Award for Best Actor for his performance as the rock band’s bisexual front man. The film told the story of the formation of the iconic British band, their unconventional approach to music, Freddie Mercury’s detour into a solo career and their reunion for their infamous performance at 1985’s Live Aid concert.
These fabulous Freddie Mercury costumes were photographed on display at Downtown L.A.’s FIDM Museum on February 5, 2019.

It was great to see these costumes exhibited again out of reflective display cases with all the jewelry accessories like on the white stage costume recreation of Sandra Rhodes original design, plus the additional glittering sequin bodysuit outfit and a look inside Freddie Mercury’s regal party outfit.
